Hi, I’m Louise!

An unironic workaholic

For the last decade, I've spent a lot of my time learning and practicing UX design, product design, email and social media marketing. Most recently, I've felt most at-home in the digital world, primarily focusing on design, strategy, and web accessibility.

As a UX Visual Architect at Mutual of Omaha, I strategize the design team’s projects for our Senior Health insurance products. Collaborating with a variety of disciplines including research, engineering, QA, product, and marketing, we create quote and recommendation tools, marketing pages, applications, and various other digital resources for pre- and post-sale users.

For 7 years, I also co-owned an online store by the name of Leo & Wren. As the "lead" of product and UX design, marketing, development, tax filing... I learned to wear many hats, balance a lot of responsibilities, and to dive head first into new challenges.

These days, I spend my free time playing video games, Instagramming my dog (@pennythegermanshep), starting new hobbies, and working on a little app called Afterify (how I built this website!).
